George C. Morgan, Jr., M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Morgan received a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Anatomy from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1973. In 1983 he earned a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Medical University of South Charleston, South Carolina, where he served as Chief Resident in Neurology.

• Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Member of the American Medical Association, Madison County Medical Society, Medical Association State of Alabama, and the American Academy of Neurology
• Assistant Clinical Professor, Division of Medicine, School of Primary Care, University of Alabama in Birmingham - Huntsville, AL campus
• Active staff member of Crestwood Medical Center and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital
• Principal Investigator for North Alabama Neuroscience Research Associates, Huntsville, AL, since 1998
• Research activities include: Dementia, depression, epilepsy, neuropathy, migraine and other headaches, multiple sclerosis, pain syndrome, Parkinson's disease, sleep disorders, stroke, and TIA
